A few days ago, within the framework of ‘’Eastern Partnership Women in Business Lending Program’’, proceeding with the campaign dedicated to the expansion and development of project package offered by ARMECONOMBANK OJSC to business women engaged in the field of MSME in Armenia, a seminar-meeting with the participation of business women, specialists coordinating EBRD’s project and ensuring technical support and professional trainers, was held on at the Bank’s Head office.

 

During the event business environment challenges, the mechanisms of effective management of finances were discussed, and the success stories were presented by the participants.

 

It is notable to remind, that on 05 February 2019, ARMECONOMBANK OJSC’s Chief Executive Officer Aram Khachatryan, and EBRD Managing Director for Eastern Europe and Caucasus Matteo Patrone, signed an AMD Loan Agreement equivalent to USD 10 million, which succeeded the first project successfully concluded between the parties in the previous year within the framework of the aforementioned project. The funds attracted under the agreement will be directed to the financing and development of women-led micro, small and medium enterprises operating in Armenia.

 

“The Bank will continue to present the package offer meeting the needs of business women and developed as a result of studies and analyses carried out by the EBRD’s professional team of consultants and the Bank’s specialists, supporting not only the attraction of financial means with attractive terms but also the management of the whole business process through targeted consultation. A special package has been also designed for the business women engaged in tourism and hotel business’’, mentioned in the Bank’s message.
